Houses
Thirty-nine keys you own. Not a room you book.
The Lana is two towers on Marasi Bay. One is a hotel. The other is thirty-nine residences, managed by Dorchester Collection rather than licensed. We will not print a price the file does not hold.

If you want a room for a week, book the hotel. If you want a key you own, the residence is the other tower. They interlock on the marina at Marasi Bay, on the Dubai Water Canal. They are not the same product, and a brochure that files them as one stay is selling the wrong door.
OMNIYAT commissioned it. Foster + Partners drew the towers. Gilles & Boissier did the interiors. Dorchester Collection manages the house. It does not license the name to someone else. The Library files this as the one substantial residence the collection has outside London, and as the group's first house in the Middle East and Asia. The collection's own pages disagree on whether it has nine legendary houses or ten. That argument is not your key.
The residential tower is thirty-two storeys: thirty-nine residences, six of them penthouses on the top three floors, with private pools. One account gives the residences at 3,900 to 10,100 square feet. Another gives the penthouses at 9,400 to 17,700, the largest at 17,700. Both can be true if they are describing different things. The private-residences file says about 4,000 to 11,000 square feet, two to four bedrooms, plus duplexes, and furnished. We print the disagreement. We do not pick a winner.
The hotel was announced in 2021 for 2023, then moved to February 2024. The official opening was held on 24 April 2024. One property database records January 2024. The residences were sold separately from the hotel. Dates of completion on the residence file do not agree with each other, so this page will not crown one of them.
What nobody publishes is what the residences sold for, who owns them now, and how the service is actually structured. That is the fact a buyer would most want. It is also the one a magazine must not invent. The Library is plain about the gap. So are we.

The last line
The desk can ask. It cannot invent a door.
Where the house is open, that is the official rate and the privileges that house actually honours. Where it is not open, the answer is that it is not open. Miles and status are not a promise on a project with no reservations.
